Nearly all COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. now are in people who weren’t vaccinated, a staggering demonstration of how effective the shots have been and an indication that deaths per day — now down to under 300 — could be practically zero if everyone eligible got the vaccine.
An Associated Press analysis of available government data from May shows that “breakthrough” infections in fully vaccinated people accounted for fewer than 1,200 of more than 853,000 COVID-19 hospitalizations. That’s about 0.1%.
And only about 150 of the more than 18,000 COVID-19 deaths in May were in fully vaccinated people. That translates to about 0.8%, or five deaths per day on average.
The AP analyzed figures provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC itself has not estimated what percentage of hospitalizations and deaths are in fully vaccinated people, citing limitations in the data.
Among them: Only about 45 states report breakthrough infections, and some are more aggressive than others in looking for such cases. So the data probably understates such infections, CDC officials said.

In Arkansas, which has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the nation, with only about 33% of the population fully protected, cases, hospitalizations and deaths are rising.

I think I see the problem.
This is propaganda to attempt to pressurise everyone into being vaccinated. Raw data suggests that even in the short term the Covid 19 vaccines have a much higher death and injury rate compared to all other vaccines. Isn’t there over 6,000 reported deaths in the US alone? (and the real figure is probably 4 times that amount)? As for long term effects, nobody knows yet what could happen. I’ll take my chances with a virus with a 99.97% survival rate.
British airways admitted 4 of their pilots died recently. The causes of death were not given and they denied there is a link, but it is suspected that they were all recently vaccinated and chances are the vaccines and the combination of flying at high altitudes caused them to get blood clots. Certainly no natural cause of death has yet been listed.

Well, somebody’s ridiculous model may predict that but I don’t believe it for a second. We’re at or almost at herd immunity between natural immunity from having had COVID-19 and immunity from vaccination.

a staggering demonstration...Well, if it's not realistic, then dagnammit, it better be staggering..
The CDC is almost certainly hella lying by way of false statistics and using the AP to amplify its lies.
Any data today is highly questionable to say the least - The Demorats are in power. Further the media sticking to their agenda like glue so you can’t believe them either. And both have little if any concern for the citizens of our country.
When the CDC changed the reporting criteria for all COVID testing by increasing the number of cycles for “unvaccinated” versus “vaccinated” people, this was the EXACT desired propaganda outcome. (Unvaccinated tests require >40 cycles, vaccinated <28.)
Unfortunately in the UK, vaccinated people are dying at 200% of the rate for unvaccinated.
The fix is in. As per the usual playbook. The Delta “variant” is merely a feature, not a bug.
If you’ve had the virus, then you have antibodies against future infection. That’s the reasoning behind a vaccine created in a laboratory. How is it any different if it occurs naturally after Covid infection? Stop trying to coerce ppl into getting an experimental vaccine and MYOB.

I looked at Worldometer.
They are simply lying about Arkansas.
Arkansas has averaged 2-5 deaths per day (7 day running average) for more than two months.
The words of this author “stand on their heads.” The truth is the opposite of what he falsely claims.
