The preventable deaths will continue, experts predict, with unvaccinated pockets of the nation experiencing outbreaks in the fall and winter. Ali Mokdad, a professor of health metrics sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle, said modeling suggests the nation will hit 1,000 deaths per day again next year.
In Arkansas, which has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the nation, with only about 33% of the population fully protected, cases, hospitalizations and deaths are rising.
I think I see the problem.
“…modeling suggests the nation will hit 1,000 deaths per day again next year….”

Well, somebody’s ridiculous model may predict that but I don’t believe it for a second. We’re at or almost at herd immunity between natural immunity from having had COVID-19 and immunity from vaccination.
OFF WITH ALL MASKS AND ALL RESTRICTIONS!
“In Arkansas, which has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the nation, with only about 33% of the population fully protected, cases, hospitalizations and deaths are rising.”
I looked at Worldometer.
They are simply lying about Arkansas.
Arkansas has averaged 2-5 deaths per day (7 day running average) for more than two months.
And nearly all COVID deaths in US are now among the overweight, unfit Americans, meaning such, if infected, recover with (according to some studies) lasting immunity equal to or superior to the vaccinated, while not likely being infectious, and need not be vaccinated, with such have a greater risk of adverse reactions,
"In Arkansas, which has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the nation, with only about 33% of the population fully protected, cases, hospitalizations and deaths are rising."
And which has the 3rd or 4th highest rate of obesity - the leading comorbidity.
“modeling suggests the nation will hit 1,000 deaths per day again next year.”
And modeling said America would have over 2 million deaths by Covid in early 2020.
Given the broad criteria* the CDC provides for labeling a Covid case or death (even just an unexplained cough and living in a high risk community) then perhaps Covid is being ruled out in the case of vaccinated people.
