A dead whale washed ashore at Asilomar State Beach in Pacific Grove on Tuesday.
According to state beach officials, a deceased fin whale showed up on the beach at some point Tuesday morning. The carcass was stuck on the surf line on Tuesday.
The whale, which measures around 30 feet long, is described as being decomposed.
A team from Moss Landing Marine Labs was called to the area to inspect the whale and possibly take some samples.
Beach officials said they had no plans to remove the whale's carcass as they'd prefer to let nature run its course.
So Hillary Clinton died?

C’mon, guys, blow it up!
COVID
By the way, Asilomar is a State Park. Right next to Spanish Bay.
How many years for that to decompose? Five? Ten? P-U!
They should blow it up with 20 cases of dynamite.
blow it up
-———awesome link to video, seen many times before......
Interestingly, the next vision on the screen was an advertisement featuring Stacey Abrams.
Good thing it’s dead, or that beaching would have killed it!
Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
LOL...one whale following another.
Stacy Abrams was unavailable for comment.
Stinking to high Heaven.
They should have called local Sushi chefs. They’d have the beach cleaned up in 10 minutes.
I’ve got some wasai, I’ll meet you there.
The gif image misses the plopping sounds of chunks of blubber falling from above. Epic.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Because what goes up, must come down. Physics, real science.
“That didn’t really happen” say some idiots.
Is anyone here a marine mortuary scientist?
“Is anyone here a marine mortuary scientist?”
In a previous career. Now I am an architect for Vandalay Industries.
Blow it up, that is a proven solution
