He didn’t miss anything.
Pretty cool story. I like his music in small doses. Does seem like a nice person.
Anyone remember that one?
She was certainly a talented singer back then. I don’t know much of anything about her today. She recorded at least one album of songs with Tony Bennett, before his voice succumbed to Alzheimers.
k.d. was most likely, surrounded by people telling her everything she said and did was ‘wonderful, marvelous’.She, like many performers at the crown of their careers probably became snippy and intolerant because she could get away with ugly behavior as long as the concert money kept flowing. Last time I saw k.d., I thought I was looking at Ted Cruz.
K.d. Lang is a good singer, but unfortunately, the usual politically-driven music world nutcase.
He may be nice, buy I find his music to be terrible. But I'd try listening to his album with Stonet & Metaloaf.
Now I’m praying for the end of time so I can end my time with you.

I liked her early country-styled music, but she lost me when she became a pop chanteuse. Greg Leisz was in her first band, and he’s a multi-talent on dobro and pedal steel. He later played with jazz guitarist Bill Frissell.
When he was at the dinner in Rocky Horror Picture Show, it wasn’t a vegetarian meal, as I recall.
There’s a photo at this link, I’m not responsible for any broken monitors.

Irony is beyond the ken of most liberals.
She prefers fish.
Tolerance is and always has been a one way street with liberals.
How did he get his stage name? There’s several different versions of the backstory on that, all told by him. I saw him on several talk shows and he tells a completely different story every time.
Keep your bacon shakin’ and don’t let your meatloaf.
Both artists did some great work.

meatloaf did a bit more IMO.
I don’t know Katy Lang (I’m not doing the whole lower case thing) but I have met her.
She was a pleasant person to me and everyone else.
I don’t think she was half the weirdo everyone said she was.
Now Natalie Merchant... everyone thinks she’s normal. No no no no no
Oh I would do anything for fans,
I’d get writers cramp signing my name and that’s a fact,
Yes I would do anything for fans,
I would play an extra encore and have grandma on stage,
Fans are where it’s at!
Yet when these snowflakes want me to change my name,
I won’t do, no way!
I would do anything for fans,
But I won’t do that!
