Have a question for Freepers. Are appointments still needed for barber shops and hair salons? I called my barber yesterday to make an appointment for a haircut. I was told it was no longer required to make an appointment. I live in California and not in a homeless area. Temp. today was 108 degrees
I find that I doan need one if I go in town, otherwise all kinds of confusion....
I never once needed an appointment for a haircut since everything reopened in May 2020. I’ve been getting haircuts for over a year now. And I’ve never needed a mask either. Going to my barber hasn’t changed one bit for me.
People still use landlines?! I gave mine up years ago.
LoL
I learned to cut my own hair. 4 times a year, almost like mowing a lawn.
Why would the barber lie?
Don’t know, I cut my own now, I started to do that when they started with that appointment thingy.
Hair appointments are gay.

June 15 Update:
California
Hair salons, barbershops and other businesses are no longer required to follow capacity limits or enhanced safety measures starting today.
Masks are still required in certain settings such as public transportation and in schools.
Un-vaccinated individuals are still required to wear a mask in all indoor businesses and business owners may implement mask rules at their discretion. For more information on mask guidance, click here.
Russia and China can hardly wait.
My barber is still doing it that way.
Tough crowd.
For example, you might end up on the Undead Thread.

Every time I call to make an appointment it is busy.
