Have a question for Freepers. Are appointments still needed for barber shops and hair salons? I called my barber yesterday to make an appointment for a haircut. I was told it was no longer required to make an appointment. I live in California and not in a homeless area. Temp. today was 108 degrees
Yes that is a totally coherent post.
Can't help you if it gets hotter there, though.
I’m still trying to make the connection between barbers, the homeless, and high heat. Was this a riddle?
Did you remember to transfer your Hair Cut Records from your previous Barber?
Why did you leave out relative humidity, wind and barometric pressure?
"I was told it was no longer required to make an appointment."
Well, if the homeless turn into zombies, they won’t need appointments. Not sure if the heat will affect their need for grooming.
Lolololol. You win the internet again. Congrats.
:-) I liked that one too when I stumbled on it.
Yes.
No.
Choose one! And have another drink.
Hahahaha. I love me some good vanity. Go FR go!
Crawl out of your cave, Hap..
Sheldon lives!
Today’s news (Newsomfornia))
A homeless man was arrested for assaulting California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) on Thursday during his visit to downtown Oakland, authorities said Friday.
According to local media reports, Newsom was walking to a barbershop and pizza joint in Old Oakland when a man approached him and allegedly threw a water bottle at the governor.
Do you feel somewhat ‘devalued’ that no one is asking you to make a barber appointment?
By the way, I too live in California. (in Marin: Nancy’s Back Alley) Trust me, we have mucho packs of Homeless liberally sprinkled throughout the state.
I saw a 12foot Tee Pee in downtown San Rafael the other day. It was surrounded by pup tents, dirty quilts and broken bikes. None of this ‘debris’ was here even one year ago.
Some shops require an appointment. Some, it is first come first serve basis. Wait your turn. Most salons probably require an appointment because of the nature of what they do takes longer. Barbers, not as much.
That's the way it has always been.
Your question tells me you've lost a step or two.
Are haircuts racist? Not all obviously, just jarhead trims and the like? Asking for a friend.
