What I am not understanding is how the State of Florida has standing. I thought states don’t have standing in Federal courts anymore not since Texas v woke states was thrown out. It might have to do with the State being economically hurt by the behavior of the CDC. -Tom

You are also forgetting that President Trump is no longer President. When Trump was President, the rule of law was not in effect, until the danger to the Deep State was out of office!

The FL Tourism industry has a LOT of money and very good lawyers. They pretty much run the state. DeSantis was a little timid when he first got in there but is very confident now.

You clearly don’t understand the concept of legal standing to sue. I suggest that you read Justice Thomas’ concurring opinion in the Texas case for a layman’s explanation.
