Our local stopped the show a month ago and now we have Dan Bongino.
He’s good, but he ain’t no Rush.
I really miss Rush......................
After listening to the Rush Limbaugh Show for the last 30 years I probably would have preferred that they shut the program down after the month following his passing.
I don’t know about how anyone else feels about this but I’m going too miss Rush. Especially after listening to him 5 days a week for as I said 30 years.
Loved Rus’s talent, but this lingered way too long.
This is the Ken Matthews Show...
So his conservative network and listener base will be fractured with Bongino and the other duo (never heard of them) and maybe others too occupying the same time slot on different radio networks. Will be interesting to see who it will be and how long it will take for one of them to come to the top. On the other hand, it will be a very long time and maybe never for anyone to have the radio audience and influence that Rush had.
It would have been a nice tribute to replay his actual last show before he took his final break.
I will miss you even more, Rush!
The end of an era of a phenomenal man, you're missed Rush.
Will Rush Limbaugh website be active?
January 1989 was the first time I heard Rush. We were vacationing in Florida and while driving down I-75 I happened upon him on WFLA in Tampa. I had never heard of the guy but after listening for about 30 minutes I was hooked!
Sad day, but the Rush Limbaugh show as it has been over the past few months (without Rush) could not survive much longer. I'm happy that the best "guide" - Ken Matthews - has been on the past couple days (can't stand the other hosts).
I will be tuning into the Clay Travis / Buck Sexton Show via WHYN 560 AM (Springfield, MA) on Monday. Our other local EIB radio station - WTIC 1080 AM (Hartford, CT) is going with a bunch of local LOSERS, completing the total destruction of this formerly great 50,000 watt radio station.
Thanks to all of you who have hosted / contributed to the many, many daily Rush threads over the years here at FR. It's been quite a ride! So sad it had to end way too soon with the passing of our beloved El Rushbo.
I think all the guest hosts on Rush have done very well. I switched to Dan Bongino when he launched his daily show.
Love you Rush.
You are missed. RIP.
Just ended and I’m feeling a overwhelming sense of loss all over again. I’m convinced more than ever that Rush’s death was symbolic of the point of no return in this country. We are in for some very dark times.
Well, it just so happened that I didn’t listen today. Did I miss anything worthwhile?
My heart sank the day I heard, “Ladies and gentlemen, Katherine Limbaugh.”
Thanks for posting. End of an era.
I was driving my family home the day Rush died. When I pulled into the driveway I broke down bawling. I couldn’t stop.
I stopped listening to the shows after his death. The flashbacks of Rush talking about current issues were good, but it just made me grieve over him more.
I’m listening to Dan Bongino. He’s good, but not in the same league as El Rushbo. I like Ben Shapiro, too, but I have to play him back at half speed. I can’t listen as fast as he talks.
