It they refer to themselves as ‘partner’ I’m already done with them.
There are other non-verbal warning signs. Finding dismembered body parts under the bed. That you didn’t put there. Pentagrams cut into the living room carpet with a chain saw. A life insurance policy on you with double indemnity in cases of poisoning or drowning in a well. Democratic party pamphlets in the mailbox.
I tend to believe leftists to be closer to the BP and sociopath, but, as you stated they’re in the same family of disorders

NPD feels like this
BPD feels like that
In my experience, NPDs are more (superficially) charming than BPDs.
As in all things NPD/BPD/sociopath, this too is only a mask.
One quick example...
Watch “The Fastest, Easiest Test For Narcissism -— Up to date: “The Smiling No Test”
https://youtu.be/vcWvJmWIlo0
There are better ones out there, but this is GOOD intro.
Essentially it is rejecting the NP scheme while laughing at the absurdity.
Real life example EVERY guy in a bar has seen...
“Hey dude, but me a drink”
Reply while laughing; “um, no...you should be buying me drinks in exchange for the chance to meet this great guy”
Normal reply is to laugh along
NP will rage that you’re an a-hole.
The inappropriate anger is the key insight.
To the NP your rejection with laughter reaffirmed their self hate. They internalized the rejection instead of seeing it as humor. Their brokenness is THE single thing that drives their actions and views of themselves in the world.
The article is based on the premise that nothing should ever go wrong in a marriage. I have been controlling at times, and its due to a mental health issue, which I am working on. Thank God my wife didn’t just skip away but was able to forgive.
Exactly. Crap happens. I’ve put my wife through some stressful situations but she knows she is not perfect either. Good God how to these people make it in the real world.
BTTT!!
Exactly! :)
I noticed it looks like only 2 men are contributing to this article. Many of these are universal, however, some of them seem to have a feminist narrative.
Example: 5 - They Say You Can’t Go Somewhere
If you are in a relationship and still doing girls night out or still going to the foam cannon party at the club, that not very committal.
6 They Insist You Act A Certain Way
“it could also hint at underlying toxicity.” - feminist language.
7 They Comment On Your Appearance
Oh BS, having standards is just fine.
13 They Won’t Make Plans For The Future
Rollo Tomassi - “If you are living just for today, tomorrow becomes your worst enemy.”
14 They Don’t Want Kids
Fact - Most people who say this are women. That means you are headed for a life of being a dumpster, living with cats, and weekends with boxed wine.
15 They Say You’re “Bad With Money”
Well if you are always broke, you are bad with money. Nothing wrong with standards.
18 - They get gaslighting wrong.
Partly true.
But the other part is saying women or men.
Men in general are very mysterious but thankfully I only have to understand one. And partly understand about a dozen others that I interact with on a regular basis.
The rest of them are welcome to go on being mysterious. :)
With that attitude, Johnny will never find a wife.
#14 is 70% of white women under 35.
Good additions.
Blessings!
