Leftist extremism isn’t apparent to people on that end of the spectrum. They truly believe they are on “the right side of history.”
Public education indoctrination has aided this fallacy. From K-12, students have been taught (since I was a kid) that humans have destroyed the environment, slavery was started at America’s birth, and that “history is doomed to repeat itself.” Add in the demonization of Columbus, colonization, and our entire history is being skewed to make students hate themselves and their heritage.
Many teachers go into the field because they “want to change lives.” They watched movies like Dead Poet’s Society and thought they could be Mr. Keating. They hunger to “save the planet” and “end suffering,” through their work.
Yes, teaching can be a noble cause, but this overinflated sense of purpose often leads many to let their egos take control. They see a wildfire and scream about climate change, despite the fact that most wildfires are caused by arson or healthy natural processes. They teach the horrors of slavery withholding the facts that black tribal leaders in African sold other Africans to British and American slave traders and that slavery existed long before Roman times. They demonize white explorers and historical figures because they themselves don’t know how to properly cope with the weight of their own history and so they project this onto others.
All of this has been exploited in recent years. The corporate media and socialist democrats have seized the opportunity to capitalize off of division and misunderstanding.

If America is a failed experiment, it is because socialist/Marxists leftist have been undermining the foundations for the last 100 years.
Leftists have been warping American society since 1920, since progressives Wilson and Dewey, 16A, 17A, 19A and the Fed, and since Frankfurt School (of cultural Marxism) operatives immigrated here in the 1940’s.
They are just following the communist narrative.
The leftists are doing a good job of making America a failed experiment by sowing the seeds of destruction from within.

America is the freest, wealthiest, and strongest nation in the history of the world. Because of this our enemies have never succeeded in bringing us down.
There is one flaw in America, and it is the racial divide. Slavery, Jim Crow, and the current gaps in well-being are real blemishes on America. The left sees this, and they see this flaw as the one gap in America’s armor that if pushed hard enough will destroy us.
Leftists don't want to be successful, they want you to fail.
The entire idea of America has always been the antithesis of this morbidly miserable, chronically dependent group. Humoring them is a mistake. Allowing them to lead is suicide.
It's sad that statement can be uttered but it is 100% true. We (the generations born after WWII) failed to carry the American dream forward. 'We' should have stopped this nonsense in 1965 when it began.
At a more basic level, allowing people who pay no taxes to vote is a recipe for disaster; that is why the Founding Fathers didn’t allow it. In their day, the taxpayers were landowners; today (especially with income taxes) we have a much wider pool; we should still only allow taxpayers to vote.
The worst parts of this country are where the most non-contributors vote; it is inevitable.
By definition I am the smartest, most able person on earth. If there is a person in my country who has a better outcome than me then my country is unfair, and must be taken down. </sarc>

Leftists are a failed experiment their party is dead ever sane person rejects their idiotic ideas even countries in Europe who tried it have failed it has nothing of worth to offer except to it’s leaders the 1984 makers.

Just not right about the way the story ends.
When we build back better, we won't make a lot of the mistakes we made before. And, as a result, the leftist population will be a lot smaller.
On a local level the vote is already restricted in such ways; here in NJ wealthy areas prefer very high property taxes because it keeps the area “clean” - and they can buy their way out of low-income housing requirements. If they have any rental properties, the rents are very high due to those high taxes - and while I don’t rent, I personally view a paying tenant as an indirect taxpayer.
