Damn Professor, Harper’s has everything these days.

Close order combat, close order drill, ambushes, troop encampments and movements and assorted other tid bits for Rebel spies.

The NYT and Harper’s weekly should be censured, imho.

This listing includes the Battle of Booneville, MO.
I count 13 encounters in five states, resulting in 229 Union killed or wounded, 108 Confederates and maybe 240 civilian rioters in Baltimore & St. Louis.
Typically, ~1/3 of total is the number killed.
