In case the MSM didn't clue you guys in to what continues to go on in Buckhead of Atlanta, here's this. If you are interested, take a look at the comments.
My step daughter lived in mid town Atlanta about4 years ago. It was fun to visit, great night life, great Restaurants etc. Since the George Floyd riots and the Mayor, Lance-Bottoms , threw the police under the bus areas like Mid-Town and Buck Head have been going down hill.
Full of Suburban moms who voted for Biden because they didn't like the mean tweets.
According to comments on the Instagram thread, a “party” was organized on TikToc. People arrived (they would appear to be from, ahem, outside of the neighborhood), and began assembling, and one assumes, drinking and smoking weed. Things got a little out of hand when a couple of “youths” squared off and kinda-sorta started drunkfighting.
The fisticuffs were quickly broken up though, and the person who posted the video decided it was time to go, when he began demanding (somewhat improbably, but this is what he said) “give me my snake back”. A young girl can be seen with what might be a pet boa around her shoulders, which might be the snake in question.
So, really nothing actually happened except some drunk kids decided to drive over too Buckhead and party in a residential street.
The same could be said of a lot of places where a dotted line on a map divides conservative and leftist people.
Conservatives think that closing a border or something like that will protect them from Leftism.
I tend to view it more like a cancer in a host, and once it is inside the wire you can't keep it out. Even a red state like Texas has its Austin and its far Left legislators.
It looks like a gathering for a street takeover/street racing. The Atlanta police have been cracking down on this kind of thing, and they have been warning the street racers to knock it off or they will definitely be going to jail.

This article got John Derbyshire fired from National Review but it has only become more relevant since it was written nine years ago.
bump
Many of the Zone Two precinct police have left due to the Mayor’s lack of support for them.
“Was there no catalyst for these demonstrations? Did someone shoot a black or something? Did the demonstrators have any demands or complaints?”
No. No catalyst for last night’s incident or the incidents of the past several months/years.
The ‘mayor’ blamed it on Covid.
It’s simply racist behavior against folks who’ve worked hard/inherited/made their fortunes and want to enjoy their wealth.
Educated Black Professionals all say the same thing. You ask them, they won't find themselves in that scenario either.
Are there moderate suburban moms in Buckhead?
Fekking animals.
Never gonna happen. The state won’t allow it because if Buckhead leaves - taking all of its tax revenue with it - it essentially leaves the city insolvent. Who backstops all those unfunded city pensions? The state.
The northern half of Fulton County tried to escape about a decade ago and the state establishment - legislature & courts - put an end to it for the same unspoken reason. Like everything else, it comes down to money.
Highly recommended by the way.
One Google search led to another and I just discovered THIS awesomeness:

LOL!
There was a shots-fired incident about a year ago in the daytime associated with the #BLM/George Floyd/Rayshawd Brooks protests. The protestors/rioters had taken over a major intersection of two 4 lane+ boulevards (Monroe and Ponce de Leon) and were making everyone observe silence, say “Black Lives Matter”, etc.
A white guy who didn’t like what he was seeing retrieved his AR from his trunk, got back in his car, and immediately started getting crap from the rioters. He didn’t sit around, drove around their roadblock, and had some shots fired at him. The rioters are probably lucky he didn’t return fire.
This was well documented with several videos on social media that I reviewed. I shared it with two separate friends who both live within a mile or so of the location, and neither had heard of it. It was simply not covered by our local media.
So the idea that just because local media doesn’t cover an event means it didn’t happen is real ostrich head-in-sand thinking from my perspective.
Ping to me previous post/account of events a year ago, and to the thread.
VOTING FOR DEMONRATS FOR MAYOR!!!!!
“If that happened in Atlanta last night, no local media is covering it. I don’t think it happened.”
I was able to see the video.
Mixed race teenage young adult street party.
It’s not news.
