It is well known if you work in health care vaccines and other screening and treatments are mandated. Have been for years. This is. it a surprise. The only surprise is how long it took the first couple places to mandate it. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong but it is well known by all working in health care
I suspect the only reason it took so long for anyone to mandate these vaccines is that they still haven’t received full FDA approval. That itself is what I see as the biggest problem — from the EMPLOYER’s perspective.

Furthermore, previous drugs with that designation did not subjugate healthcare workers to take that experimental drug. It was only given to the patient that appeared to have no other option for survival.
It only becomes a true vaccination once the drug is fully accepted and is so designated as being a fully recognized vaccine.

Because Moderna said in their own SEC filing (Wall Street) that their jab as an “experimental gene therapy” and they were having a hard time getting regulatory approval, and that they were $1.74 billion in debt.

The Covid-19 vaccines are experimental - and known as EUA or “emergency use authorized”, and cannot lawfully be forced on anyone according to federal law, it isn’t any more complicated than that.
I am in health care. I have never taken the hepatitis vaccines. I have taken two flu vaccines for different facilities for travel assignments, and refused it other times. I am not taking the covid vaccine and still working.
I don’t know why everything in free Republic world is so all or nothing.

MD Anderson Cancer Center doesn’t require any of the employees to get a COVID-19 vaccine. It would be hard to find a medical facility that has more at risk patients.
