The more one thinks about the events of the past year in light of the information we’re now learning, the angrier one gets.
Last week, RedState reported that the Defense Intelligence Agency had for some months been working with a legitimate, high-level Chinese defector who knew about the Chinese military’s work on bioweapons. Worse, the DIA had refused to let other alphabet agencies know about the defector because they were concerned about Chinese agents having infiltrated those other agencies. Now, RedState’s Jennifer Van Laar is back with more: (a) the virus was deliberately leaked from a Chinese military lab and (b) that possibly compromised alphabet agencies have covered this up for a year.

Now, according to RedState’s Van Laar, the DIA’s vetted defector is confirming everything Dr. Yan said:
Technical details provided by the defector, RedState is told, were given to scientists (who were not told how that information was given to the government) who then re-analyzed data from published sources in conjunction with the new data and concluded that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was engineered. And, the defector was able to confirm numerous non-public details Yan provided the US government.
What Van Laar also says is that, not only did the Chinese create this bioweapon, but it was “deliberately released.” It was an act of war.
The FBI, says Van Laar, has known most of this for more than a year and, even as the disease was rampaging through the world, did nothing. However, some members of Congress, including Rep. Matt Gaetz, were briefed on the story, which is why Gaetz grilled FBI director Christopher Ray in Congress on Thursday.

I doubt the CCP deliberately released the bioagent. One reason we haven’t seen more bioweapon attacks is they are indiscriminate. Now, do I think Covid is a an engineered virus, yes. I read early on that a researcher at the lab had gone home sick and we know now that one of the researcher’s wives died of Covid and this was weeks before anyone else. Then, these articles disappeared.
Some time ago a YouTube commentator put out a piece demonstrating the Democratic Party’s narrative machine. He read what the narrative on a particular event was, then, played media reports along with the time stamps where they used the same exact words. Then, he played pieces where other media agencies had used the same narrative, but substituted other words with the same meaning, but left the overall structure of the narrative unchanged. Along with the propaganda you have to quash the truth. That means demonizing anyone who might tell the truth and discrediting anything they say as a conspiracy theory.
This exact pattern was used after Covid came out. Anyone who even suggested that it came from the lab was branded a conspiracy theorist. If this wasn’t propaganda and we were just discussing the news, then the lab leak theory would have been handled as a theory to be investigated. Instead, hugely biased terms were used in any article purporting to be such an investigation. This is not just the way news is done, it’s the way propaganda is done.
Take for example the idea that dark matter exists inside the planet Earth. In any investigation to prove or disprove that theory the other side would address only physics without demonizing the dark matter theorist. That’s the way science works. But it is not the way propaganda works.
I read somewhere that during his last week in office Obama approved funding for the gain in function virus research . Is this the guarantee some texts were about?

That would be correct about GOF and Obama reauthorizing it.

I remember some years ago (maybe 15 or 20) some TV news program was saying that China had so much money that it was building entire cities where no one lived..
“Deliberately leaked”. Talk about putting it mildly. But given how much the “leak theory” has been pushed in propaganda the last few weeks, that is probably the most effective way to inch the world closer to the truth.

That’s okay. They just upped their policy from 1 to 3 children. Plus of course, they are planning to depopulate us, with a portion of their population moving here.
Well, pick a crazy number -- let's say you have a bioweapon that would kill 90% of your enemies. You wouldn't release that because it would kill 90% of your people too, right? They are, as you say, indiscriminate.
But what if you have a bioweapon which is like a bad flu? China can go through a bad flu, lose some people and shrug it off. They know it's pretty much the flu. But release that on the US and the world, with a little political coordination, and you can get the political class to shoot their own country in the head. Much worse than the flu.
I think the key to COVID is that it just isn't that bad. Oddly enough, that made it a near perfect bioweapon because there are so many traitors over here that would do the heavy lifting.

Then the Congressman was an idiot. Fascism died with Mussolini, as did Nazism with Hitler.
Its worldwide Communism - absolute state control of everything and, if even half of what some people think is true of this covid ‘vaccination’, our biology as well.
The Congressman was not in support of globalism. He was simply saying that it can’t be turned back. We’ve gone too far down the pathway to turn back.

China is in a tremendous demographic collapse. The latest census has the smallest number of births in decades and, at that, we know they’re lying. If they weren’t lying, why would they start a propaganda campaign demanding people have three children? There’s talk of outlawing abortions and birth control devices. If they weren’t lying, nothing so startling would be necessary.
Here’s a bit of irony, to escape the accusation that China launched a bio attack, they will have to admit that some of the first victims where researchers at the lab and their wives. (I can no longer locate those articles, which says they were probably removed from search engines.)
Everything the Chinese have done to affect their population has backfired horribly. Also, if the word leaked out that this was a actual attack, the results would certainly hasten the fall of the CCP. Not only that, the safe havens the top officials have been syphoning money off into might be suddenly unavailable. Just running off with a lot of money to another country is one thing if you’re not a war criminal. It’s quite another when Trump, or someone like him gets back into power. Which, I think will happen sooner, rather than later.
As for knowing in advance how serious a particular disease is, that’s impossible. There are too many variables. Suppose they tested it on Uighurs and determined the casualty rate was .05%. The Uighurs may have natural immunity that the Hahn Chinese do not have and that would be impossible to determine without significant testing of a control group. Then, they’re back to that demographic collapse problem. Kill off a good test sample of Hahn’s, say a thousand, and that’s a hundred-thousand potential children lost a hundred years from now. ( The same population problem currently faced by Germany and Russia due to losses in the first and second wars.) I have seen some academics are suggesting the current real population of China is a hundred thousand or more lower than their published figure.
