LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Governor Andy Beshear is dropping COVID-19 restrictions across the state on June 11 thanks, in large part, to the vaccination effort in the state.
However, just because you get the vaccine doesn’t mean your completely immune to catching the virus again. It happened to one Kentucky woman after she caught COVID-19 and was fully vaccinated.
The vaccines that are out there are extremely effective at what they do, they keep you from getting very sick and dying from COVID-19. That said, there is a chance you can still catch the disease again.

from article: “She caught the disease back around Thanksgiving, got vaccinated in April,”
I read: having Covid-19 before was better than the vaccine.
Reading this, there is no true immunity therefore no true heard immunity. Good thing we have treatment plans.
She sure ought to have immunity now!
Not exactly. The vaccine (any vaccine) pre-conditions your immune system with antibodies to fight the infection. You got exposed to the infection in either case. The question is does your immune system have the ability to fend it off before it becomes overwhelming.
” Certainly not worth shutting down an entire civilization for another year”
I think President Trump shut down the US last year, because we did not how bad the bioweapon release on us by China would be.
Know we know, no need to shut down. Darwin’s Law of Natural Selection. If you have good genes and good heath no need to worry.
Dr. Fauci and these politicians can take these “vaccines” in a suppository form, and shove them up their collective A$$es!
Governor Andy Beshear is dropping COVID-19 restrictions across the state on June 11...
Uncle Andy is a joke.
Statistical noise. /s

The more adjectives a “scientific” article contains, the more lies it contains.
To die.........
>>The vaccines that are out there are extremely effective at what they do, they keep you from getting very sick and dying from COVID-19. That said, there is a chance you can still catch the disease again.
And you can still SPREAD the disease again so KEEP YOUR MASK ON if you have been vaxed and shelter in place!
How magnetic will these people be when we get to vaccine version 4.23c. You won’t be able to keep the silverware on the table it’s going to be stuck all over them.
Yeah I heard another cover, can’t remember who...but it was lame. Neil Diamond was one of those rare artists who I didn’t really like but somehow miss hearing on the radio.
I liked his “Brother Love’s Travelling Salvation Show”, 1969, even have the 45....................
No vaccine is 100%. The smallpox vaccine is 95% effective. The pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine is 80% effective.
An imperfect vaccine can still wipe out a disease. Israel had 14 new COVID-19 cases and 0 deaths yesterday. The day before it was 5 new cases and 0 deaths. In a population of nearly 10 million people. The COVID-19 vaccines work when people get them. They aren’t perfect and they don’t have to be perfect, but they do work.
Fortunately she was vaccinated so she might not catch it three times.
but why did she get tested?
Hmmm..she had COVID-19 before being vaccinated and apparently did NOT DEVELOP “NATURAL” immunity? Then she’s vaccinated and STILL DOESN’T DEVELOP IMMUNITY?
Perhaps the problem is with her weak personal immunity systems.
