My dad bought my mom a ‘69 Firebird 400. In ‘72 I was driving a ‘62 MG Midget that I rebuilt from two wrecked donor cars.
It is. Unless you didn’t describe it correctly.
Yes it is. Drove through there not too long ago. Wow has it changed. I remember when it was an out of the way bedroom community. Now you can’t tell when you leave LA and enter San Fernando.
So much has been taken from us.
We had two. They must have got great deals.
Mothers was a coral colored automatic station wagon with a V 8
Dad’s was a black and white straight drive station wagon 6 cylinder.
I damaged my mother’s transmission by revving the engine and throwing it into drive. I ran it into a tree while being distracted trying to light a cigarette
One Aunt had a black and white 4 door. Another aunt had a similar car but I can’t remember the color. Fortunately fo me, my cousin tore up the transmission so when I did it it was blamed on the car and not the driver
Yeah. Them halter tops. My gf wore them all the time :)
LOL, back then my feet were basically calluses.
My mom has always wanted a ‘67-’69 Firebird
She should probably get one then. I always wanted a Mustang like the one Steve McQueen drove in Bullitt but could never justify the expense.
About three years ago I bought a basket-case 1969 Fastback and have been rebuilding her. I’m probably two weeks away from her maiden voyage and I’m stoked.
Time is too short for coulda woulda shoulda!
My my
I must be an ass man because people keep telling me’ “You’re an ass man”
Rodney Dangerfield.
I am what I am
Nice!! My dad has a 69 Mach 1 428 CJ he bought back in 1988/89.
