I can't get into anything Google: mail, Youtube, translate, etc. I looked at the settings in chrome and it said that google.com was blocked but I don't see how to unblock it. I don't think it's a chrome setting because it doesn't work on any browser. My default browser is Brave. I use Kaspersky for virus protection. Is this a firewall problem? A Windows 10 problem? It just started yesterday.
Yeah, might want to look into that
FIND ECHO (similar to Twitter) and FIND SOCIAL (similar to Facebook) will launch on July 4, 2021. FIND SEARCH, FIND CREATORS (video platform) will launch later in 2021.
I don’t use Google search. I use Duckduckgo. But I live in Spain and use Google Translate quite a lot. I also have a Gmail address that I use for anything that wants me to register. I am looking to see if there are any Google based malware attacks. If that doesn’t work I will try installing an old backup. In my worst case scenario I will wipe out my C drive and reinstall Windows. The only thing I use my C drive for is the operating system and installed programs. Everything else goes on other drives.
Disable the firewall, anti virus, anti malware programs you have temporarily and see if this fixes the issue.
I don’t go to any Google site (intentionally). If I find myself redirected there I leave.
I read elsewhere that he discontinued it.
Our world has big tech scaring everyone into this internet security will end the world.
Watch the headlines about pipeline and beef hackers, and now hospital attacks.
You are being told you can’t spend enough $$$ on your device security. It is the techies that create the issues so you have to send them your $$$.
Updates on your devices are constantly employing ‘new’ and better protocols that only frustrate the end users. If it stopped working just install another tool. How many levels of crap do we need.
It really started years ago with bloated software. Code that was so wasteful that it allowed evil code to easily be hidden within. Ever since code size is massively larger than need be and we can never tell how much evil is hidden and embedded within.
Time to streamline coding down to the bare essentials and basic functions.
