Methane comes out of the ground under its own power. Methane is lighter than most other atmospheric gasses. It floats up in the atmosphere and gets blown away by the solar wind. That is why carbon, the fourth most abundant element in the Universe is only the 14th most abundant element in the earth’s crust. Crust because we don’t know what the abundance is deeper down, not having gone down very far. Methane is not likely to have more than a negligible and transitive effect on climate either locally or globally.

The whole “ greenhouse effect “ has its theoretical origins in the observations of Venus, our nearest planetary neighbor. The surface of Venus is obscured by clouds and the temperature is much higher than would be expected if solar radiation were the only factor. I believe astronomers have assessed the composition of Venus’ atmosphere and have determined that it contains a large amount of carbon dioxide. The warmists have chosen that as the reason Venus is so hot ignoring the fact that there are a lot of sulphur compounds. As far as methane is concerned I think they get that from outer planets like Jupiter and Saturn and Saturn’s moon, Titan, where methane is a predominant gas.
So the Maasai are on board with this?
Will they put cow masks over all the offshore methane hydrate fields(God’s profuse blessings on America)?
