I have the day off today, and had to get a few things, and I know today is Memorial Day, and I salute all those who gave their lives for this country.
Well, I got out of the car and realized that I left my mask at home.
Oh well, if anyone(Karen's) complains, the store would provide one or I could buy one.
So I walk in, about 75% of the shoppers had masks on. Got my business done and no one said a word and this is a place 6 months ago, that had a strict line and temperature checks to get in.
LOL...I like it!
Here in NE Hellinois I haven’t been to a store that still requires a mask. Only Karen’s are wearing masks now and the rest of us ridicule then.
This week we were at Costco, Sams Club, and Walmart without masks. We don’t have the vaccine and it was a memorable experience.
My friend in Portland says local stores are demanding vaccination cards.
If I lived there, I’d be temped to walk in wearing a “Star of David”
There is a very strong correlation with the liberal - conservative scale and mask - no-mask attitude.
Liberals believe everything government says, probably because that’s where they get a lot of their income. Conservatives say “leave me alone, you bastards.”
I am not going to hate on you for going to Whole Foods but I will remind you that the store is run by people who hate you. Just saying.
I was checking out a month ago w/o a mask and the lady in front of me came back to me and said, Thank You for not wearing one.
The a holes running Kroger have told employees to get the (it’s not a vaccine) vaccine or continue to wear a mask. For months I was literally the only person in our Kroger not wearing a mask. No one either cared or had the stones to say anything to me. The hell with peer pressure.
I’m semi retired, have been self employed for 40 year (thank God). The mask Nazis can kiss my lily white ass.
Same here, I’m in south FL, and masks are no longer required, although some people do still have them on. I’m respectful to business owners so if they have a sign up, I’ll throw one on, like a gas station. But Publix and Wal Mart no longer require them around here.

I saw a Amazon driver deliver today here in southern Calif. and he had no mask on.
I had groceries delivered by a man and women today in their personal car and the woman had no mask on who gave me the groceries but the guy did. There is hope.
The other day Mr.GG2 was in line behind some woman who went off on the Kroger cashier yelling that she didn’t have to wear a mask cause she got the vaccination. Which is fine but then she turned to Mr. GG2 and said “well I see you have a mask on so you haven’t been vaccinated”. He looked at her and said. “ I’m wearing the mask to protect myself from shedders like you”. She went nuts and ran out of the store. 😆
