I have the day off today, and had to get a few things, and I know today is Memorial Day, and I salute all those who gave their lives for this country.
Well, I got out of the car and realized that I left my mask at home.
Oh well, if anyone(Karen's) complains, the store would provide one or I could buy one.
So I walk in, about 75% of the shoppers had masks on. Got my business done and no one said a word and this is a place 6 months ago, that had a strict line and temperature checks to get in.
No masks needed to go anywhere here in western Colorado. Some still wearing them. Tourists, mostly.
Northern Indiana. I have yet to witness a local confrontation over masks.
Two weeks ago drove through Oberlin , Ohio. Everybody had masks on even outside.
Drove through again today...maybe six people.
In Oberlin. :)
I work at a DFW airport hotel, and, I can care less a flying eff if someone is wearing a mask or not.
If ya got the experimental poison in your arm, you are free to go commando, unless the Diaper Police screech, or Karen Shopowner demands your obedience.
If you kept drug free, you’re supposed to mask up everywhere forever, at threat of legal action by anyone, at anytime.
Guess where these are the edicts in the Goobermint Bull from the Guv Nanny Killer?
Masks have been optional up here for quite a while. Vermonters are sick and tired of being old what to do.
Oberlin even back in the 70's was considerd a commie hotbed by some in the tri-state area.
I live out in Walton County. Barbershop never required a mask for customers. Went to my son’s school last Monday. No mask required and I only saw a few students wearing one. Nice to be back to normal.
FYI - Never wore one except when at my doctor’s office.
This weekend in southern Oregon we had Boatnik, which is the annual 3-day celebration for Memorial Day, and on Monday features jet boat races on the Rogue River and a two fighter-jet fly over from Kingsley Field.
There’s also a lot of rides set up for kids, and the usual carnival eateries.
Was SOOOO happy to see almost NO masks amid the very big crowds!!
Lame post. Live and let live.
Hilarious!!!!
Michigan had long hard lockdowns - even here, this weekend, all of a sudden; grocery store, Best Buy, Home Depot, etc. - 30%+ are not wearing masks. Supposedly optional for fully vaccinated people. Of course, nobody is going to ask anyway - so I expect everyone to just stop using them quite quickly.
The true Karen’s will be in shock!
Great story. Short and pointless. Very compelling.
Live in College Park, a mostly black suburb south of Atlanta, near airport. I haven’t worn a mask anywhere in weeks. Yesterday i ran over to the Wayfield to pick up something i needed for dinner. They had a sign posted saying no mask needed if vaccinated. However i was the ONLY person in store not wearing a mask!! Even families with very small kids were all masked up. What is it with black people and masks? Did Fauci design the virus to affect black folks more? Are they really that much more affected, or just more brainwashed? Do others see this phenomena?
“What is it with black people and masks? ... Are they really ... just more brainwashed? “
Hey ... I’ve been wondering the same thing. It seems that so many of the TV commercials are 100% black actors, and obviously pandering to black consumers. Couldn’t figure out why. Then I figured the government who is pushing the ads is, once again, engaging in the soft bigotry of low expectations. It seems they’re assuming blacks are more easily manipulated so that’s the demographic they’re going after.
And maybe the RAT government, like one of their soul mates, Margaret Sanger, believes black citizens are “weeds” that must be eliminated. If that’s the case, then I really REALLY don’t want the inoculation.
My son and his family live in Belvidere.
He’s on your volunteer fire department.
DIL sent me a video of parade you guys had.
Couple months ago I was in Aldi’s all masked up as a courtesy, the woman in the checkout line thought since she couldn’t bully me about the mask she would about “social distancing”.
It did not end well, and her car was next to mine. I pulled my mask off and went to my trunk as she was loading her reusable bags into ner Prius. You would have thought I was about to strangle her.
“Do people really go around looking for Karens to say something about not wearing a mask?”
Project much, Karen? The vast majority of free-breathers don’t care what the maskers might think, and would much rather go about their business without having to respond to self-righteous busybodies at all.
You can even go into Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods Nashville maskless now
