The Texas state Senate passed a sweeping election overhaul bill on May 30 that has been criticized by high-profile Democrats over provisions that they say expands restrictions and penalties.
The legislation was approved largely along party lines after an overnight debate stretched into the morning of May 30, according to local media. The House had a deadline of midnight on May 30 to approve the proposal.
This is good news. It does not go far enough, but it is a step in the right direction.
Voter: You mean I now can only vote once, or do you mean once an hour? If you ask me, that is racissss. Somebody sue them.
Is this “Jim Crow 3.0” yet? Any woke corporations we know, that we’ll have to stop patronizing? Bring it, Dems.
Just Common Sense Vote Control.
NH is the interesting one. Show up on election day from out of state and vote.
restrictions and penalties? lol Yes, CHEATING AND FRAUD, among other things!
“poor and minorities will be impacted by this controversial law.” /s

The Dems are playing word games. This is not about restrictions and penalties; its simply having rules and well defined voting processes to ensure fair and honest elections.
Dems don’t want rules because it makes it hard for them to cheat.
They have closed that loophole last I heard.
It was stupid, for sure.
We need major election reform in PA, AZ, GA, MI, and WI regarding enforcement of voter ID and watermark verification of absentee ballots. This needs to be done before the 2022 MidTerms.
As for NH. They should look up all the voters who are still living elsewhere.
The Texas House and Senate have been working non-stop since January. When the governor mentions extending the session, it is a collective groan and people’s motors get going because they all want to go home.
One source I just saw said that Dems had blocked the election bill in the state House, or they were trying to do so. Too many TX RINOs!
“When the governor mentions extending the session, it is a collective groan and people’s motors get going because they all want to go home.”
If’n they don’t like it, phuck’em! Do the work first, THEN go home.
