Democrats have walked out of the Texan House of Representatives, blocking a bill on voting that has been criticised as racially discriminatory.
The Republican-led bill, which was passed in the state Senate, introduces sweeping restrictions on ways for voters to cast their ballots.

24 hour polling centers in select precincts but not in all counties?

Ballot harvesting?

If it is racially discriminatory, can someone from INGSOC media explain why places like India or Singapore or South Korea have strict laws in place in order to ensure the integrity of their votes and elections?

This is not the first time legislatures staged a walk out to block passage of bills.
If I’m not mistaken, republicans staged a walk out years ago. The media found them at some resort in New Mexico or something.
More to the point look at South Africa. They have a photo voter ID.

My take, if you’re too stupid to obtain a “free” state issued ID, too stupid to follow simple instruction..perhaps you should not be taking part in something so important as voting.
