First off, my heart goes out to you, FRiend.
I know how precious that peaceful quiet is, and I know what it meant to me when it was disturbed.
I began to obsess over it. I’ll have to think on it, but just know, you aren’t alone in this.
Maybe blasting stumps at 6 AM when they’re trying to sleep it off might get their attention.
Get a giant skeleton from the Halloween store, put it on the edge of your lot facing them, and keep it lit up.
I moved to and bought this property exactly because of its proximity to the peacefulness of nature, with its large lots and peaceful neighbors. I even drove through the area before I bought it at night to make sure that it wasn’t a party venue. This has been proven true for my first 14 years. Now all that is coming to an end. I’m not gonna let it come to an end if I have anything to say about it.
Call the cops, you need your peace and quiet too.
Call a realtor.
“Yelling in Mexican” made me lol tho!!
Well, I do have a very loud chipper shredder which a ran up just an hour ago to shred some brush. I think they just turned the music up louder.
I don’t equate Spanish with Mexican. It’s like comparing English with ghetto slang.
You are becoming your Dad.
Embrace the diversity and culture exchange you now privileged to.
Maybe you will get invited to the monthly cock & dog fighting party.
It’s funny, I live in suburban Arkansas now and suffer much the same.
Only, in reverse.
I live in an area with a lot of Hispanic people, but whenever an Arkansan moves into my neighborhood, it’s parties all night.
And fights in the yard.
And drunken yelling
And trucks/ utvs/ bikes/ trailered boat motors / fireworks throughout the night.
And insolent barefoot feral children at all hours of the night (frequently to 1am for this 4 year old boy who needs to be returned to the wolves who are missing him)
There is no stopping it. I approach people who do it, get in fights (we’ve gone to fisticuffs on occasion) and he just pees on my car, aims his speakers at my house and his toddler kids harass me to no end.
Call the cops repeatedly. That’s the only thing you can do. I finally called the cops so much my troublesome neighbors moved “to the county to get away from toy liberal commie ***holes” (referring of course to me)
But if they own it, forget it.
And try living next to deaf people. Oh whoa you’ll miss cinco de mayo nightly.. lemme tell ya.
Mexican is a nationality…not a language.
It after 10pm here. The noise ordinance specifies below 60 dB level after 10 pm. That’s not very loud, and it applies AT my property line. I’m within the law to report.
Eh, no thanks. LOL!
You are not alone. I don’t have the answer. Good luck and keep us posted.
Becoming epidemic with that loud, deep, blasting bass sounds in neighborhoods, hotels, streets etc... yearn for a secret weapon that both intercepts loud sound wavelengths and returns to sender units that destroy or render them inoperable. In my wildest dreams and imaginations wish list. Otherwise I’m rebuking the offending loudness in Jesus name and commanding by faith in faith that it ceases.
I knew exactly what you meant!
That’s what made it funny!
Seriously though, I’m sorry for your predicament. Good luck 🤞
1. If you decide to take any action to antagonize them, make sure it's not something that can be traced back to you. In fact, you might even see if you can get invited to one of their 2 AM cockfights just to make them think you've got no problem with their south-of-the-border lifestyle.
2. Don't try to deal with them or correct their behavior. You have to make them want to leave the neighborhood.
3. You have to make sure that the reason they want to leave the neighborhood seems like an act of nature rather than an act of retribution.
Figure out what the Cuban gov’t was doing to the US Embassy.
Acquire hardware.
Apply same in their general direction.
just Learn to ignore it. They probably won’t stay long.
