Just because he is re-elected doesn’t mean he gets to be Speaker of the House. If he doesn’t smarten up some other republican will fill that spot.

If not, he should certainly be removed from his Minority Leader post.

Devin Nunes’ district is adjacent to McCarthy’s....I am SURE that Devin would know who to elevate as a challenger
The district is in the “other” California—agricultural and dotted with small and medium-sized towns such as Reedley, Dinuba, Lindsay, Visalia, Kingsburg and Tulare, which attract few tourists. It is solidly Red and deserving of better representation in Washington.

Maybe it is just me, but I think every elected official should be primaried in every election.
It could possibly weed out some of these lifers in office from the president to the dog catcher.
In the absense of term limits, have someone or several someones run against the every incumbant maybe that could eliminate a few of the Ann Kirkpatricks or Diana DeGettes. Or the Maxine Waters and Chuck Schumers and the like from office.
So I say, HELL yes primary Kevin McCarthy. Primary Jim Jordan. It doesn’t matter. We may lose some we like, but I do believe the cream will eventually rise to the top. If not, this nation is doomed for sure.
