Fauci took the old medical joke that “the world is one viral mutation away from extinction” a bit too seriously. Also try to imagine how the MSM would be reacting if this “research” and expirimentation had been done by capitalst drug companies who were interested by definition in profit and not a government entity.

This is so circular! As if it were a plot twist in a recently produced movie. Imagine... either Fauci came up with the idea to pursue GOF all by himself, or he took advantage of the Chinese Military’s ongoing weaponization of viruses and other forms of biological warfare.
Then he, like some kind of ghoulish vampire, waits... first in the shadows, then in the direct spotlight. He is the villain, deceitfully masquerading as some sort of scientific savior. Could this get any worse? Should I even ask that question? Of course it could. But Fauci should by all that is good and just, be facing the gallows. His immediate firing should be a foregone conclusion.
