Now, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has stopped investigating breakthrough infections among fully vaccinated people unless they become so sick that they are hospitalized or die.
The change means the agency will continue to investigate cases like the death of a vaccinated resident of a nursing home in Kentucky but not the infections of more than 20 other vaccinated residents and employees in the same home who did not require hospitalization.
But even relatively mild cases of Covid-19 can lead to persistent long-term health problems, and it will be difficult to know the full scope without tracking mild infections as well.
Julie Cohn came down with Covid-19 this year even after being fully vaccinated.
Ms. Cohn wasn’t hospitalized, but she experienced body aches, chills and digestive problems for about two weeks. She was left with fatigue, headaches, brain fog and vertigo so severe and sudden that she crashed her car into the garage one day.
She is still not back to her daily three-mile runs with her dog because of shortness of breath. “I’m young, 43, healthy, with no pre-existing conditions, but you often find me now on the couch resting,” Ms. Cohn said.
“Don’t people want to know about this?” she asked. “Where do people like me go? What happens next? The practitioners in my life have been shocked and are trying to figure out how to move forward, but there are so many questions. And if no one is studying this, there won’t be answers.”

About a year ago, if you smashed your motorcycle, it was a COVID death if you had had a positive test at any point.
And the PCR test would be run on a sample as many times as needed in order to find minute traces and justify a positive finding.
Today, the PCR test run much less, and positive results are much less common.
And if you’re vaccinated and have symptoms, they don’t want to know. You’re not really sick. Go away.
Imagine if they ignored mild cases in unvaccinated americans... the infection numbers would be a tenth or less than what they claim.

The CDC wants to cover up the deaths from the Covid shots as well. If people are over 65 and have a stroke or heart attack right after the shots, no problem; nothing to see here.
As the American people talk to friends, relatives, and post side effects from the Covid shots online, the CDC, WHO, MSM, Faux Fauci, illegal Biden Admin, etc. won’t be able to hide it.
Despite the CDC’s deliberately deceitful claim that “breakthrough cases are exceedingly rare” the reality is that they are proving to be quite common which is clearly why they stopped reporting most of them.
On April 26 article on news site, “As of last week, there have been at least 334 breakthrough cases of Covid-19” in Michigan.
Two weeks later Michigan Health Department reports:

Latest “breakthrough” hospitalizations and deaths update as reported by the CDC:
Last week: The number of hospitalizations among the fully vaccinated is up to 1,136, and the number of deaths among the same population is 223 as of May 10, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This week: The number of hospitalizations among the fully vaccinated is up to 1,949, and the number of deaths among the same population is 351 as of May 17, (fatality rate: 18%)
Almost doubled in just one week.
Of course the CDC is not going to investigate breakthrough infections - duh, they don’t fit the narrative.
Not understanding the rush to get an unproven, non-approved experimental injection involving a new technology (mRNA), for something that has a 99% + recovery rate, while wagging one’s finger at those who refuse. All while low-cost therapeutics and prophylaxsis are proven to work (ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, etc).
A critical aspect of the Emergency Use Authorization for vaccines is for there to be no other viable treatments for covid. That is why Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine have been smeared as much as they have. Also include the profit incentive of mass injections vs a less than $1 per pill treatment. The U.S. medical system follows the dollars, not the science.

The government pukes need to show how effective the vaccine has become by ignoring any data on vaccinated people getting covid.

Another rationale given for not tracking all breakthrough infections is that they are not likely to result in further spread of the virus. But the scientific evidence for this is not conclusive, some experts say.
At Rockefeller University, which routinely tests students and employees for the coronavirus on its campus in New York City, breakthrough infections were identified in two women who had been fully vaccinated and had developed robust immune responses after inoculation, according to a study published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
Both of the vaccinated women, a 51-year-old and a 65-year-old, developed mild symptoms of Covid-19; viral sequencing revealed they had been infected with variants. “One of the individuals had an extraordinarily high viral load,” said Dr. Robert B. Darnell, an investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the paper’s senior author.
The patient is not known to have spread the disease to anyone else, he said. Still, he said, “she had twice the transmissible viral load number in a pinhead drop of saliva.”
It’s also why the new CDC standard for PCR tests for the vaccinated are 27 cycles (14 billion X amplification) while the unvaccinated tests remain at 40 cycles (1 trillion X amplification). They want as many people injected as they can before the great die off begins in the Autumn/winter wave
