The midterm elections are still 18 months away, but the fight for control of the Senate is already shaping what gets done in the nation's capital this year.
In an evenly divided Senate, where Vice President Kamala Harris gives Democrats the tie-breaking vote, every vote matters.
Republicans only need to flip one seat to take back the majority, while Democrats are eager to cushion their majority by picking off a few more seats currently held by GOP senators.

Just happens to be 6 Rs and 4 Ds, thanks CNN
He won't, so plan for 2022.
And his opponent can use his promise to serve only two terms against him. Probably not a major issue but it will be used along with anything else they come up with.
Who else should be on the list?
It’s all going to hinge on how happy (or unhappy) Americans are with the state of things. The Repubs have some selling to do.
I think the GOP can take all 10.
I think the GOP can take all 10.
That would be a 4 seat pickup and dilute the rings. We’ll need a contract se up for 2 cycles.
rings = RINOs?
In a County where the OurRevolution County Recorder, Adrian Fontes the incumbent, lost his race, do you really think Kelly won? Kelly ‘won’ the County by lots of votes, while Fontes lost. Can you say massive FRAUD?
Word is that baby face Connor Lamb wants the big prize. He won re-election (just barely) to his congressional seat, probably with fake mail-in votes from Allegheny County against bonafide war hero Sean Parnell, who learned enough from his first campaign to win a rematch.
Parnell is also mentioned as a possibility for the senate nomination. And if it is a Lamb vs. Parnell match statewide, the GOP would have the advantage of a real veteran vs. a fake whose overseas military service consisted of 14 months riding a desk in Okinawa for the USMC before being appointed a federal prosecutor by Obama once a spot opened up.
The Dems would have the advantage of a baby face who could claim "I was a veteran too" and trust the media into fooling the voters statewide just as they fooled his constituents for four years.
Not if the elections continue to be rigged by Democrats.
Be that as it may, the results of the Cyber Ninja audit aren't going to change the 2020 election results. So don't count on him being removed this year, concentrate on voting him out next year.
LOL.
You still believe elections are real???
Let me guess....
You think WWE is real and the government exists to help you.
Not any doubt that millions of votes for their replacements have already been pre-cast, already store in place, and are just waiting for post-poll-closing discovery...
