Rolling to Remember has announced the official route for its motorcycle rally through Washington, D.C. on Memorial Day weekend.
An estimated 50,000 motorcycles will stage and disperse from parking lot 8 of RFK Stadium at 12 p.m. on May 30 and make their way through D.C., and circle the National Mall.
The second annual Rolling to Remember Demonstration Ride follows a three-decade-long ride hosted by Rolling Thunder. The ride, which calls for furthered efforts to recover American POW/MIAs as well as awareness for veteran suicide, will round the border of the District by way of Interstate 395 en route to the National Mall.
“The route is the most direct possible, staying out of the residential neighborhoods and avoiding certain routes key to the faith-based community on a Sunday morning,” said AMVETS National Executive Director Joe Chenelly.
The fate of this year’s ride had been left in doubt when the Department of Defense turned down AMVETS' request to use the Pentagon Parking Lot as a staging area.

Nice job.
Trump flags among the riders will constitute domestic terror.
Yes, insurrection 2. Screw them.
“Trump flags among the riders will constitute domestic terror.”
Now that the terrorist leftist know the route, expect trouble.
There are so many enemies of freedom in our government.
Bttt.

I can see the FIB collecting license plate numbers and harassing vets.
Not to worry, the police will be out to protect the leftist terrorists.
30 years ago I was travelling from the Midwest to DC on a Memorial weekend.
Stopped about 10 p.m. at a gas station in Breezeway, PA. Immediately about a dozen motorcycle guys pulled in. I’m thinking “OMG. Hells Angels!!!”
Wrong. It was Rolling Thunder. Major sweethearts. They even pumped my gas!
Gonna check out if my local Republican club can some how help them out.
Of course they will.
They're veterans and most of which support Trump. The government already knows who they all are.
During FR's March for Justice rally back in 1998, a group of well dressed individuals walked through the crowd with a clip board wanting everyone to sign something. I declined.
