BTW, I said a family member of mine works in the field—has PhD in biotech breeding/genetics. I asked and they said what Mikovits said could be possible. So again, I will go with them and Mikovits.

???? Answer!? Yes I did—I stated my family member said they thought it was possible (tho we did not spend large amount of time on the subject), and I would believe them and Mikovits over some of your propagandized sources.
As my “wall of words” stated, I am not an expert but I did address your source’s claims. I would encourage you to read some of the links from your source—if you are the science expert you are implying you are, then I think some of those sources indicate it is possible.

I don’t know why you are so hung up on one thing....Regardless of what COVID strain was used as a base, I believe it was BIOENGINEERED...as do many!
As I said they could have used SARS. I believe much was added to whatever virus was the base...and I (and my other family members who all have advanced degrees in science or healthcare) don’t think it originated in a bat cave 1,000 miles from Wuhan or that it jumped from bats to a Pangolin that bit someone or someone ate in Wuhan wet market.
I do believe they likely did use some existing Coronavirus for which genetically modified the spike proteins...However, I am not an expert and have never claimed to be.

As I posted above there are very significant genomic differences between SARS CoV-1 and SARS CoV-2, and CoV-2 is much more closely related to other coronaviruses observed in the wild.
There's no evidence, genomic or otherwise, that one evolved from the other and she's the first person I've ever heard to even suggest the possibility.
She's stating it as a fact. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence and she's supplied none.
Because she's being presented here as an authority, presumably to influence other FReepers.
It should matter if people you're told to listen to spout nonsense.
