“Get away from that buffet and start rowing!”
Pretty sure cruise buffets are a thing of the past.
Midnight buffets used to be worth staying up for, you can only see so many champagne glass towers filled with cheap champagne and how to make a daiguiri or pasta demonstrations..
As long as I have a decent spa with sauna&steamrooms onboard and wifey has her Bingo, we’re good for one or two more trips.
Hard to believe Princess is under the Carnival umbrella but.. never set foot on an official Carnival ship, no need to or desire.

“Midnight buffets used to be worth staying up for”
I believe that the last time I went to a midnight buffet was in the mid-’80s on a Sitmar ship. It’s been a while - LOL!
The ships we’ve been on the last five or six years (Celebrity and Princess) didn’t even have a midnight buffet; the buffets pretty much closed down after dinner, except for a few pastries and coffee to grab after the show.
I like the buffet for breakfast, as I’m an early bird and DH likes to sleep in. I dress quietly, grab my book or sewing, and head to the buffet for coffee. Sometimes I’m the only one there for a while.
(Who raises the entry barriers for their own customers?)
