Short explanation of the result of the shutting down of Enbridge Number 5 pipeline.

Be Aware. When they talk of the seaway, it might not be the St Lawrence seaway, the the Big Lake-Superior. That is international waters AND the locks are international in scope.
So what this bitch is proposing, might result in oil and gas tankers running through the Big Lake YEAR ROUND as they will use ice breakers to keep that commodity going. Then comes the Soo Locks, they will require the Locks to run year round costing millions of dollars to be able to do so.
Whether they could do that is another issue..But be sure, Enbridge WILL hire tankers to run the Big lake to take up the slack caused by this witches stupidity and incompetence.

Canada already has a pipeline going to its west coast, and the capacity is being expanded greatly for both oil and LNG. If the US doesn’t want Canada’s energy - there are buyers in Asia waiting to receive it.
Although that is true, the pipeline in question, supplies Southern Ontario as well as a lot of the upper midwest-Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, N Wisconsin, and the UP especially.
Over 70% of the Propane for home use comes from that pipeline in the UP of Michigan.
I originally thought it was over 90%, but having called a friend who is in the gas business back up there, he says it is more like 70%-WHICH IS A LOT.

Whitmer ordered Line 5 closed last November because of the potential for a spill in a channel linking two of the Great Lakes. As her May 12 deadline arrived, Canadian pipeline company Enbridge said only the federal government has regulatory authority over its operations. Whitmer warned the company Tuesday that continuing to operate the line would be trespassing and the state would claim Enbridge’s profits from doing so.
She has NO AUTHORITY to shut down that pipeline nor has the AUTHORITY to confiscate any revenues.
What that skank forgets is that line runs across an international shipping channel. Although it is with the USA, it is under the authority of international commerce. IF, that line was under the waters on the EAST side of the bridge, then it would be in international waters exclusively. Lake Superior is international waters. Huron, and all the rest. Only Lake Michigan is not in international waters but shipping is regulated through agreements.
Now, lets watch and see what happens in the federal courts under this Pig Face Bidet administration.
Just talked to one of the boys up there. He said that there is a group that are intending on approaching Enbridge to put in a refinery at about Rapid River Michigan if this c**t or Bidet shut the thing down.
Do your online map. Rapid River had a small tank farm there one time. It was supplied through tanker ships that docked at Rapid River on Bay De Noc.
It's not like Whitchin B*tchmer and her Michigan Mean Girls have a track record for screwing environmental things up, like causing a dam burst that floods a bunch of communities.
