It was barely intelligible the way it came out.

Awhile back - either as VP or as a candidate he gave a similar speech to some military folks. They had the same bored reaction and he made similar disparaging remarks about them.

The reception of his speech was dull, because the speech and the speaker were dull. And tedious, mendacious, even pathetic.
The Coast Guard graduates should be applauded, as they are not suck ups or sycophantic toadies. They have something Joe is unfamiliar with, integrity. Good for them!

That’s not the worst thing. The worst thing is that the mainstream media will not honestly report on this event. The very best we can expect from them is this: “Biden gives a well-received speech at the Coast Guard Academy.”

A toastmaster he is not. Joe Biden couldn’t deliver a joke if his chocolate pudding depended on it. It’s bad enough his speeches are dull and delivery slow as molasses but trying to punch up the speeches with his “humor” is cringeworthy to say the least.

I won’t be surprised if we start seeing Barack Hussein Obama and TOTUS appear for these speeches as well as for “special diplomatic missions”.
