MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Mesa police arrested a woman over the weekend for allegedly stealing a car from a man. The woman claims the man gave it to her in exchange for sex.
Police officers pulled up and checked a gray Nissan Sentra's registration near Country Club and University drives around 10 a.m. on Sunday. Officers realized the car was reported stolen. When the officers searched the vehicle, they found 44-year-old Diana Lee Baker inside.
Baker allegedly told officers that three days before she met a man she knew as "Robert." She says he was the car owner, and he gave her the car after she had sex with him. The person who owned the vehicle told officers that he did not know Baker and did not give her permission to have it.
While searching the car further, officers found pieces of a plastic straw, which was melted on one side, foil, and residue, which was used to smoke fentanyl and other drugs, according to police.
Baker faces charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Am I mistook, or does the tattoo say “Always a Lady”?
At least she has a sense of irony.

After my shock, I realized she most likely *was* a beautiful teenager.
She does have the facial bones of a beautiful woman.
Life has simply destroyed the outer layer.
It really, truly, is sad.

Up until now Capitalism has protected us.
We’ll see how it goes from here.
Some women and men are pretty resilient. Others like this
lady in the article burn out. Sad to see how they turn out.
Some folks have this glow about them until they get very
close to the end. I respect that.
As for this lady, she may have had all the bad breaks, or
she might be that one child out of the family of five kids
who made every wrong choice. I’ve seen that happen, while
the other kids are very successful.
Anyway, thanks for that photo. I sure don’t like seeing
people age badly.

I am saddened by it also.
I am a Christian, and I believe God will restore people in
the new Earth.
I hold out hope of that for this woman, if she can develop a
relationship with Him and be one of those saved.
