Video at link. It's quite obvious the perpetually offended, for all their pseudo intellectualism are incapable of discerning what humor really is. I say if a woman is ever sent to the moon they gotta name the lunar landing module ALICE.

Dang. I guess I can’t enjoy “Boom Boom Out go the Lights” by Pat Travers anymore...

When the show was adapted into a movie in 2005 starring Cedric the Entertainer, the lines “pow – right in the kisser” and “one of these days” were scrapped. “To the moon” was tweaked into “I’ll take you to the moon” and said in loving adoration when Ralph begins his relationship with Gabrielle Union’s Alice.
That great hit movie that earned about $400k.
Maybe those kinds of changes movie goers and those who enjoyed the original TV series didn't want to spend money to watch.
"Pow" and "too the moon" were comedic humor. No sane person watched thought it was threatening. Geeez!

Best cartoon! Saw that years ago and still tell of it...to those who know about The Honeymooners, of course! 🤣

I’ll get offended about the Honeymooners and this so-called threat of violence when liberals get offended about the thousands of rap songs with very real messages of violence. Including sexual violence against women.

It just dawned on me that Ed Norton was like an early prototype for characters like Kramer on Seinfeld. The goofy but lovable next door neighbor.

'incapable of discerning what humor really is'.
You're behind the times.'Humor' doesn't exist anymore. Everything has become entirely politicized, and good natured humor is verboten.

Leftist, except when lambasting conservatives, generally have little sense of humor, whereas conservatives tend to get jokes without any ‘splainin’.

Yeah that other thread went off on some weird tangent (totally wrong story). I tried to bring it back to the headline.

Alice gave as good as she got too. She was never shaken and in the end you knew they loved each other.
I’m so sick of the “perpetually offended” crowd trying to ruin everything. I had neighbors like Ralph and Alice when I was a kid. You can’t look at everything through the prism of today.
To: Zack Attack
Ralph: "Men, Alice, men made the world what it is today!"
Alice: "And it's about time one of you admitted it!"
In a way Alice was one of the original feminists.

That’s a very good observation...
Well, ya gotta hand it to them. When it comes to hypocrisy and wearing their faults on their backs, Leftists sure can compartmentalize issues to fit their world view.
