Oh FFS, when *I* was a kid my parents knew that swallowing a battery was a bad idea. Anyone over the age of *4* knew that swallowing a battery was STUPID! 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 years ago it was common knowledge that putting a battery in your face was... not the smartest thing you could do.
Just how utterly STUPID are “adults/parents” today? Good effing grief!

Lots of people dont know that the button hatteries can be lethal if they get lodged in gi tract. Parents should be aware...to keep those things out of reach of young children.
It is obvious to many, many...but there is a lot of ignorance out there also.
P.S. I wonder how many parents are derelict in this regard based on psychotropic chemical use.
