Seven members of the Yankees staff tested positive for COVID this week, and ALL SEVEN were fully vaccinated. Interesting how 40 players can walk around the clubhouse touching Is anyone covering baseball going to question how this is possible? Seven staff members, who all agreed to “do their part” and got praised as heroes on Twitter, all contracted the virus anyway? ‘But the vaccine isn’t a cure…it just decreases the odds of getting it,’ they’ll say. That’s all we ever hear when a pro-vaxxer claims we all should give in.
I’m no mathematician, but seven for seven in positive COVID tests is what we like to call 100%. All free-thinking human beings should be looking at that number before they head up to CVS to inject their body with a vaccine math insists they don’t need.

I was having some fun with the title...
At any given time of the day, 99% of the human population will test positive for having dirty hands.
Like ... so what ?
Nothing .... NOTHING .... ever comes from these "reports"
They just blurt it out and allow the MKULTRA induced fear take over and put words and thoughts in your brain.
stupids ... ALL o' ya' !
I blame the Red Sox.
Is it possible that the test are the wrong thing to base policy on? Instead of counting positive test, that we instead only count cases that require hospitalization.
This. Your logic and reason is excellent. Sadly, this topic has become a hopeless pretzel due to the misinformation and contradictions we have seen.
I have a friend in the ICU right now who is in his 40’s, a bit on the heavy side but generally in decent shape. He has 5 young kids. He may not make it and if our prayers are answered it is still probable he will have permanent damage. They induced a coma.
We have other friends who are in their 70’s that are sick but doing well enough and appear to be on the path to recovery in a week (hopefully). I have two other friends in their 40’s who had it (lost taste) in the last month with little symptoms.
This is a very weird virus.
“He did say that PCR should not be used as a diagnostic tool in general.”
My claim that he said it should not be used for China Virus came from a news story which I unfortunately did not fact check.
However I suppose it is a forgivable assumption that if he said the test should not be used as a diagnostic tool it makes sense to claim it should not be used as a test for the China Virus.
Likely were infected BEFORE they were vaccinated if only looking for antibodies.
We’re all infected.
Were any of them actually ILL?
If not, this is a non-issue.

Indeed. You seem to know many who have contracted it. I on the other hand know no one who has and just one person who said he knows “of” someone who has/had it.
“Maybe if you get vaccinated every week it will help.”
Hard to do while you’re masked, wrapped in Saran Wrap from head to toe and hiding in your basement! I mean, that IS the example El Presidente has set for us! ;)
I’m waiting for the Vax Police to show up. What’s the over/under for when they start coming to our homes and vaccinating us by force?
Jerks. Leave me alone.
That's a weird comment. Most baseballs in a professional game last about 4 pitches, tops.
Any misfortune to befall the Yankess is fine with me
Anyone else tired of horse-pile crap masquerading as science?
Florida is well represented here, and filling up!
I read in another article that 6 out of the 7 are asymptomatic.
I felt the same way you did in the first months of the pandemic. Not a lot of cases in my area or region with rural areas mostly unaffected. It has gone around pretty good in the last 6 months with some tragic results.
Love it!
Yep.
Absolutely. They should all be isolated and quarantined for a month...perhaps This advice is from a non-Yankee fan, but is highly unbiased, of course, perhaps 5 or 6 more Yankees should be quarantined as well, just for good measure and safety...
Two elementary school kids around here will have long term kidney and thyroid (?) damage.
