Navy 5th fleet makes major arms bust
The U.S. Navy seizes thousands of weapons discovered aboard a vessel in the North Arabian Sea.
“The cache of weapons included dozens of advanced Russian-made anti-tank guided missiles, thousands of Chinese Type 56 assault rifles, and hundreds of PKM machine guns, sniper rifles and rocket-propelled grenades launchers. Other weapon components included advanced optical sights,” according to the Navy.

How many man-hours were wasted uncrating and laying out those weapons just for a photo-op?
Just send all of that stuff to Ukraine....or to Iran’s enemies on the Gulf...

Someone’s little warlord just lost a shipment. The US Gov can do whatever it likes, send them to the next zone where we want to, bring them home for our new troops to get some familiarity with the stuff out there, ship off to a group of friendlies. We had a ton from Saddam, we get more every year, it is just a pile of old weapons. Yeah, they are fun toys, but compared to what we already supply or have, this is chump change. And this is just what they are showing you they got in this one mission. We pick up this kind of thing fairly often.
From Iran to the houthi rebels...should give the weapons to the Kurds on the Iran Turkey border...
Heads are going to roll for the bad guys. That’s a tidy stash of firepower. The US will aquire the weapons and give them to who knows where.
