Starbucks is reportedly considering closing its Facebook page as a result of the 'hateful comments' in response to some of their posts.
An internal memo, obtained by Buzzfeed, showed concern within Starbucks at the rhetoric on the site.
Starbucks mainly posts information about their beverages on the page, which is followed by 35 million people - but they also respond to social issues, such as the conviction of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, and the wave of anti-Asian attacks.

...but they also respond to social issues, such as the conviction of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, and the wave of anti-Asian attacks. Maybe they should stick to posting about their overpriced drinks and skip the tired “woke” crap.

No way. I’m not on facebook but even I know that if Starbucks or other their fans complained about “hateful” posts directed at them, the miscreants would be summarily suspended or banned.
This is their excuse. Not the reason.

I really do not like their coffee and never have. I was actually in their first shop in Seattle, wondered why anyone cared about it.

This is Starbucks, the same korporation that after Michael Brown attacked a police officer in Ferguson Missouri, had no answer as to why they would call others racist for not investing in black communities when there was no Starbucks in Ferguson either.

Health freedom is a show stopper for me personally.
Take away my common law right to dictate my own health and wellness (and arguably: 9th, 10th, 4th amendment rights) and there is zero common ground. It is no different that imposing a foreign religion on me.
