Former President Barack Obama announced on Saturday that their beloved family dog Bo has died.
"Today our family lost a true friend and loyal companion," Obama said in a statement on Twitter about their Portuguese water dog. "For more than a decade, Bo was a constant, gentle presence in our lives—happy to see us on our good days, our bad days, and everyday in between."

Maybe people will finally stop buying these dogs.
I’d never seen a PWD outside dog shows, until Uhbama invested in one for his image.
Then I see them a lot in our area, including on walks in our hood. Because we are overladen with liberals,
