Black slave magically appeared on the docks of Boston and New York in chains and ready to be sold. Any other contact with them (slaves) is immaterial and relevant to this discussion. Only white Christian males are responsible for this practice and therefore must be persecuted for all infinity.
The democratic party of the old south up to the current membership is hereby exonerated as being the ones mostly that actually participated in slavery.
Muslims are also exonerated as the people that actually captured the slaves, with other black people and sold them into slavery.
Spain, England, France, the Netherlands, etc. are also exonerated as the transporters of the slaves.
It is a good thing that there is no reference to slaves in the bible or any other books regarding slavery from any other source. It only came into being by white Christian men in 1619.
Slavery has been the predominant economic system forever, up to, arguably, the fall of the Ottoman Empire.
The Bible talks about slave going back a couple of thousand years before Christ. The American Indians had slaves, the Chines had slaves for thousands of years. India had slaves again for thousands of years.

The emergence of an American identity embracing philosophical doctrines of the Enlightenment resulted in a Declaration of Independence and Constitution placing master and slave on the same natural plain of existence and dooming slavery in this nation.

The English Crown, first under Elizabeth I, then the Stuarts, was a major slaving outfit. They started out trafficking to the Spanish and Portuguese areas of the New World. The Dutch brought the first slaves to the British colonies, then RAC and many others jumped in. Note that Jefferson tried to blame the British Crown for slavery in the colonies, and for rejecting colonial efforts to top the slave trade. That was both hypocritical and accurate to a point (and Virginia planters had a financial interest in limiting imports when they already had a surfeit of slaves).
To the more important point — CRT, the 1619 Project, and their ilk are political endeavors, not genuine efforts at history. Like many things related to CRT, the proponents have blinders on for anything that does not push their political objectives, and are ignorant of the world history that would provide context. This is deliberate for tactical reasons, but is also a product of extreme self-absorption.
It’s the same reason that Michelle Obama aimed her Princeton senior thesis on the burning question of “what have black Princeton graduates done to help black people”. Princeton failed to inculcate an intellectual perspective broader than her mirror and ultimately indulged her racial solecism.
CRT types don’t want to face the reality that slavery has been practiced by almost all peoples in all places since the dawn of time, because that begs the more interesting questions: how after 100,000 years of slavery, did it finally come to be seen by most of the world as morally unacceptable? What produced that shockingly new mentality? Where did it start and why? What spread it? Who has preserved slavery in the modern world?
The proponents don’t care about any slavery except in what became the USA, for a short three hundred and fifty year period. To do otherwise forces admission that the European Enlightenment and evolved versions of Christianity killed slavery.
