So today was my semi-annual appt. with my Primary Care Dr. They asked me if I had a mask, and I said no. So they gave me one. I said thank you and went and sat down. There was plenty of room in the wtg room -chairs are placed more than 6 ft. apart. So I didn’t put the mask on.
When the Dr. came into the exam room, I was bare faced, and he took his mask off too. He said I don’t suppose you want the CV Vaccination do you?
I said I had selected myself to be a part of the control group. He laughed really good - said that was the best response to the question he had all week. So I asked him if he was required to get the shot.
He said no, at this time it was not required, but after review of studies he and his wife decided to take it. He said even after it is approved, he does hope that it will never be mandatory and thinks the vaccine pass idea is horrible.
Guess I’ll keep him as my PC doc. for a while longer. Ha.

I’m so glad my doctor takes COVID seriously and isn’t falling for the anti-mask propaganda and lies that are so prevalent on our side.
She requires the mask but is not recommending the shot. That tells me all I need to know about both. Masks are not, and haven’t been, required here. It’s up to the the business. I even asked her about the masks. She said “yes, they absolutely help but only if worn by everybody in close contact with each other”. She plainly told me that they aren’t 100% but absolutely better than nothing. She advised me to always wear mine when in a crowd in an enclosed room.
I choose to believe my doctor over political hacks with an axe to grind against the opposing side.
