How will this Coronavirus play out?
I am thinking that cases and deaths will continue to drop nationally as we get into the summer. Note that there is a floor to the number of deaths though as all respiratory infection deaths are labeled as Coronavirus.
As we get into the Fall the cases will climb and as we get into flu season the cases will rise further. This will be driven by a number of variants, in addition to the original Covid vaccine. It is at this point that politicians will say things like “we must not let our guard down”. Some lefty jurisdictions will restart lockdown measures, if they relaxed them during the summer.
My hope is that the college age lefties crack first and start to protest the lockdowns. The last to potentially come around will be the adult lefties. I don’t think they will come around - I think they will be wearing masks for years to come.
I also predict that there will be at least one thread Flubros and Flubras! Year 3.

There was almost zero flu this year. It looks to me like the annual flu was replaced with COVID this year.
Went into an establishment the other day - wearing a mask like a good little sheep... Noticed no-one else in there was wearing a mask. Looked at the proprietor and asked if we needed to wear masks. She said, and I quote, “No, we’re free in here.” I love this place. I will be back.
I think it will never go away.
They are not going to forfeit control, decrease tyranny, or slow the propaganda.

I agree with you...but the left disagrees with you. They think all of their good work will lead to no Coronavirus in the Fall/Winter. It is at that point that some lefties will realize it will be around forever.

Once some people stop wearing them, others will get braver...our great Florida governor dissolved all the local Covid orders yesterday, and when I went to the store this morning, I saw that most customers...and even a manager and a couple of employees...were not wearing them.

Agreed! Let’s see. We started the vaccine in January which was four months ago. 147M have been vaccinated at least one time and that includes 105M of the single-dose version.
So, what have we accomplished? The daily infection rate is where it was in the summer of last year and almost double where we were at this time last year. The natural progression of the virus last year was a decline into the fall and then a sharp rise. So far, after over 40% of the population has been vaccinated over the last four months, is this the best we can do?
Come fall let’s see what the lefties have to say when the rate begins to climb again.
