Currently about 37% of L.A. County residents are fully vaccinated, and 65% of those 65 and older are fully vaccinated.

I'm surprised at the level of hesitancy in LA county: this is maskaren central. It's very common to see one of them driving alone in a car, wearing two masks.

I would have thought that they would all be beating down the doors to get the jab.

In all fairness, the messaging has been terrible. First they were concerned with equity "let's give it to the blacks first". Understandably that went over like a lead balloon, not least of all with the African American community. There was very much a "naw, you go on ahead first", that was perfectly predictable to anyone who wasn't in love with the Democrat narrative.

The way I figure it is that I can’t sue Big Pharma for side effects since they are indemnified—so the million dollar bribe is just paying me in advance for any damages...no harm, then I get a windfall, just like Big Pharma.
