Is the line social distancing?
No, thanks. I want a big fat burger with all the fixings.
Who would wait hours in line to buy laxatives?
Can’t wait for the Saturday night fight videos to begin!!
I love those original rat burgers. Good onion rings too.
I grew up with Krystals. Nothing better.
It’s no better than Crystal.
After bar closing time in my late teens, can still remember doing 12-15 of these at a time. It was more like inhaling them, not eating them.
Fond memories when you could fill up on 75 cents...
White Castle fed me much of the way through grad school...
And with 140 employees, it’s still 45 minutes to get your order.
I like White Castle, but their service makes a sloth look fast.
Sheeple are pathetic. Camping out over night for fast food ... no wonder so many Americans are fat.
As bad as White Castle is, I grew up on it in Michigan and missed it in Texas (the frozen ones were not the same). Always got my fix when back home.
Even Krystal’s isn’t quite the same but will do in a pinch.
Confession:
Though the White Castle is a sh!tty little burger I love ‘em.
It’s the onion steam.
I’ve made them at home and they are better.
Use thin dinner rolls (commercial rolls they sell at Thanksgiving), FINELY diced white onion, salt and pepper on the slow cooked little burgers.
Then put a few onion slices in the bottom of a rice cooker or stew pot with water and add a steaming screen/grate. Once the water is steaming, add the burgers, cover and steam for one minute. Two if you like ‘em gooey.
White Castle is rayciss. Where’s BLM?
As several others have said, white castle go right through you. They call them sliders for a reason.
Same kind of people who wait in line for hours for the new IPhone, or PlayStation, or the “vaccination”.
White and Castle, how will the snowflakes ever cope???
boycott... right?
Did Harold and Kumar get to the front of the line?
Amazing it was way back in 2004 when that movie came out. Missed the final cut for the Academy Award but it is still fondly remembered by sophisticated classy film buffs.
I long for White Castle Burgers. No such restaurants out here in California. If desperate, I could buy the frozen version, but just not as satisfying.
I used to live about 100 feet from a White Castle, and that’s the only burger I ate for the duration of my life in that neighborhood.
Here in Florida, I haven’t seen a White Castle anywhere near my Tampa home. Not that I miss them, since, I’m not into burgers anymore.
I have seen White Castle burgers in my neighborhood supermarket, but still not tempted.
I’ve been eating sliders since the 60’s and I’ll be eating them till the day i die. Lotsa memories there. But - a word of caution - never leave a partiality eaten sack of sliders in your car overnight. The smell is overwhelming and takes weeks. You’ve been warned..
