Costco paper towels. Same price as the previous several times buying them. Now with 20 fewer sheets. 140/160= .875 Inflation rate: 8.75%
Find the old rolls in store with 160 sheets and it’s effectively like buying the new sheets at 8.75% off!
Boy, that's the truth! The two-ply is like one-ply compared to Charmin, plus the normally excellent Kirkland brand roll is 1/2" shorter.
I’ve made those too. Even used bagels a couple of times. And once, in desperation, a slice of bread. The flour tortillas work out better (and cheaper) for me. And the surprising thing, Flour tortillas seem to last ‘forever’ in the refrigerator.
But I only have too hands not fore.

I’ll use 5 or 6 paper napkins (saved from the ones McDonald’s puts in a bag) at a single messy meal.
Surprised that some of the other commenters still use bar soap. The only place I ever see it is in a hotel.
with Costco, it really helps if you buy when things are on sale....
