Youtubed link hereJust an awesome concert.
White privilege I guess.
Glen’s guitar magic/song writing is very much missed, one of the greatest guitarists I’ve ever heard! Thanks!
I love this concert
If you’re still within the sound of my voice...
Maybe my favorite song at this show. And that’s saying something. He doesn’t even play (which he could do better than Jimi, EVH, Roy, etc.). He just goes into overdrive w/ his voice. Even Linda couldn’t sing it like that.
A member of the Wrecking Crew and the Beach Boys, and a huge star in his own right. Oh, and he never could read a note of music, but sang and played multiple instruments better than just about anyone. We miss you, Glen.
Just to be clear, are we talking the Super Dreadnought Symphony Orchestra or the Southern Durchmusterung Symphony Orchestra? I think Mr. Campbell liked them both.
Brings back good memories; thanks for posting the YT link.
Search for Glen and Roy Clark playing “Ghost Riders in the Sky”. Roy on lead guitar and Glen “backing” on 12-string. Not many could play the 12-guitar well, but Glen makes it look effortless.
One of my all-time favorite concert DVD’s!
Thanks, ProCon! :-)
yup that’s a sharecropper in Delight. a great little town i just had the privilege of driving through going to Murfreesboro to see my family there. beautiful hilly section of AR.
great song Witchita Lineman, still have it on vinyl.
The first three songs are my three Glen Campbell favorites. Unquestionably great musical talent.
Bump for tomorrow read.
Gosh I miss that guy, he was just getting started good when I was in high school and God is not making anymore like him!
