The Drudge Report’s drift from its original Internet rebelliousness took another step into mainstream irrelevance with a purge this week of links to pioneering conservative sites
The Gateway Pundit, World Net Daily, Free Republic and Lucianne.com. Also reportedly gone are links to the late Rush Limbaugh’s site and columnist David Limbaugh.
Infowars and ZeroHedge survived the purge, however one report observed ZeroHedge was delisted for a time this week.
Last month the Press Gazette reported the Drudge Report lost over forty percent of its traffic year-on-year from February 2020 to February 2021, “Influential conservative news aggregation site the Drudge Report saw its year-on-year visits fall by 41% from 71.4 million to 42.4 million.”

Infowars survives, eh? I have a feeling Alex Jones has cut a deal.
Drudge has been a sick homo with an affinity for older men since high school.
“Drudge Report Drops Links to Gateway Pundit, Other Conservative Sites”
That’s OK I dropped Drudge 3 years ago..
Drudge dropped the Jerusalem Post long before that. Anti-semitism anyone?
The things they have reported on should have resulted in investigations, particularly with the fraud but as we've seen, those in charge refuse to investigate anything.
Haven’t given that site a click since 2016.
How long ago did he drop Lucianne?
The Drudge Report has been moldy garbage for years.
I guess they are tired of pretending to be a news aggregation site.
Only folks with an IQ in the double digits would even think of wasting their time being lied to and indoctrinated by that fool’s “Report”!
Drudge was pro-Trump in 2016. But by 2017 the site did a far left turn. It has not been readable ever since.
................................................
I turned off Drudge when he first went left, but now that I’m thinking about it, when folks do a sudden flip-flop it makes me wonder if they’ve been blackmailed, threatened with bodily harm, or some other horrible event. It certainly is a possibility!
This is effect, not cause. Conservatives dropped Drudge long ago and the site analysts remove the links that users no longer click on.
Drudge tweeted “You’re fired” after they certified the battleground states and cheered that Loeffler lost the runoff election. People say he doesn’t run the site are wrong.
Bill has yet to receive what he deserves, and the Democrats are still destroying America, but I think November 8/9 2016 was probably the best possible punishment for the Hildabeest. She came THIS close to the goal that she lied, killed, and committed countless other crimes to achieve, and it looked for a moment like she had it, but then it slowly slipped away from her as the night progressed. No doubt she would have rather chose torture than experience that moment. And that is sweet, sweet justice.
No.
Drudge had 658 million visits in the last 31 days.
9.13 billion visits in the last year.
If your number for July 2016 (1.47 billion views) is correct, that means Drudge has lost about half his audience in the last 5 years.
Actually, July 2016 was just about the point in time when I gave up on Drudge.
Before that, Drudge had been my FIRST stop on the Web every day since the late 1990s.
Haven’t been to the Drudge Report in years. Even removed it from my Favorites Bar.
The SLUDGE report..... Have not clicked on it for almost a year.
That was a wonderful night indeed. I have watched videos of the Left’s meltdown many times. Schadenfreude on steroids.
Matt Drudge
Pro life
Pro Israel
And Freepers bought it..
That includes me
There’s more to conservatism than those measures
The way Breitbart abandoned Trump they are hardly better
NeoCon central
Both to the honest
We get fooled so easy
When Bannon left Breitbart
The spirit of Andrew left too
