Michigan mask mandate now also applies to 2-4 year olds. To help those in Michigan learn how to be more compliant citizens I post an excerpt below:

Keep it simple and compare it to something they already do, like wearing shoes when they go outside * Model mask-wearing. If your toddler sees you do it, they're more likely to also * Practice through play. Have your child put a mask on their favorite doll or stuffed animal * Let them pick their own mask and get creative

“Maybe finding a mask in their favorite color, maybe they have a favorite cartoon character that they could find a mask with that. Anything you can do to get a child to let them make choices… compliant with what we need them to do," Lucy McGoron, an assistant professor of research at Wayne State, added.”

Following the advice above is an excellent first step to make sure that your child will never, ever commit the sin of disagreeing with the government.

Idiotically, the Puerto Rico Health Department yesterday decided to ignore the new CDC guidelines on masks and intends to keep its “masks outside the home all the time” mandate in effect until we get 70% herd immunity.

Reducing the oxygen to children's developing brains from wearing masks should augment childhood vaccines enough to ensure an increase in the number of dimwitted Democratic voters.

The snot laden masks will lead to more sickly childhoods which will later reduce the number of students in class at any one time lessoning the burden on teachers and waste taxpayer funded public school resources, but increase the need for more tax payer funded healthcare. Some children will miss potentially the only meal they may get in a day.

The frustrations of trying to keep a mask on a two year old will lead to an increased number of parental suicides, child abuse and missing children. As you approach the herd immunity threshold, Rt is invariably reduced toward 1. Once past the HIT, Rt will remain below 1, but may fluctuate depending on conditions. The herd immunity threshold is not a total end to infections; it’s the beginning of the end, where current infection counts within the population as a whole will trend down until there is little or none left. So there is definitely still value in getting closer to HIT.

Not saying the political response is correct, just clarifying what “herd immunity” looks like in real life.
