Defending Taiwan is a thing of the past. When the power of the PLA rested on “ how many hordes in a Chinese platoon” defending the island was simple. Now the PLA is modern, wrll equipped, and China possesses nukes capable of hitting us. ( thanks Bill and Hill ). What POTUS will risk nukes exploding over SF or LA to defend Taiwan.?
