I had Covid over 5 months ago, gave blood last week and still have antibodies.
I too have zero reason to get vaccinated and don’t give a crap if someone does or doesn’t.
Lets get back to being adults in America.

Can't argue with that. I agree with you. Unfortunately, Biden Administration does not agree with you. So if we've hit a plateau and we see this kind of viral activity, we'll continue to see restrictions all the way to 2022.
Yes, the power-hungry politicians best friend is COVID. But, with some red states leading the way, this stranglehold on our freedoms will be resisted by more and more people. Even little things like braving the purse wielding Karens of the world by refusing to mask up at the grocery help.

A friend of mine passed away from Covid last night. He was 77. He had been vaccinated with both doses a couple of months ago.
I would like to see a graph of flu and pneumonia deaths in 2018 and 2019 for comparison. Those diseases apparently don’t exist any more. How many people died of those ailments in prior years compared to how many are falling to COVID now? We must also keep in mind that the COVID death numbers were inflated in 2020 so lets compare the real COVID deaths (no comorbidities) with historical flu and pneumonia deaths. It might be eye opening.
I agree, there is little doubt that the COVID deaths numbers are almost certainly inflated. The old follow the money rule being the primary culprit. That said, the flu numbers pale in comparison to the WuFlu death rate of +-40K out of +-50 million cases in 2019-2020.

I've lost two close friends to COVID before the vaccines were available. 70 and 58 years of age and both were otherwise healthy. I can probably add my wife's 74-year-old aunt to the list too. She died of the flu even though she tested negative for the flu back in December of 2019 a week or so after playing slots on the Mississippi gulf coast

There is a good chance that many millions of us (USA) have been exposed to the Corona Virus 2019 and not diagosed.

Every heart attach and vehicle crash was marked as a 'Rona death.
Even Congress Critter Ron Wright with stage 4 lung cancer was noted as a 'Rona death (which you agreed).

In 60 years not a single person I knew, friend , relative, co worker had died from of/with influenza. Since April 2020, six have died from or with Covid. 2 70 years old. T h e other 4 52 to 60. Four friends spent five days in hospital. Two of them, a woman at 71 and another woman at 57 still are suffering aftereffects from fatigue to scarred lungs, three months after recovering. For many this bug is minimal but for far more than a few it has ranged from difficult to fatal. For them it wasn’t the flu bro.

There is literature to suggest there are 8x positives as cases reported. I think the reason why cases are declining are Becuase with vaccines and natural immunity there is close to herd.
This may be the 2009 H1N1 (Again, China origin) but dramatically inflated death rates.

Gas_dr mentioned Israel, so I thought I’d give a little more context. Israel has vaccinated most of their adult population. Since doing so, daily new COVID-19 cases have gone from almost 10,000 per day to 150. Daily COVID-19 deaths have gone from nearly 100 per day to 3. Yes, 3 deaths in the entire country.
Meanwhile, they’ve been sharing a ton of data. They’ve found that the Pfizer vaccine blocks 94% of asymptomatic infections and 97% of symptomatic infections. Is it just a regional thing? No. Every one of Israel’s neighbors are seeing COVID-19 cases and deaths either hold steady or rise. Every one. Israel is the only one seeing massive drops.
So before you let anyone tell you that the Trump vaccines don’t work, look at the observable reality. After you see for yourself what’s actually happening in the real world, the anti Trump vaccine crowd’s wild and ridiculous claims are quickly revealed as the farcical nonsense fearmongering that they are. President Trump’s vaccines will return life to normal here just as they are in Israel.
That is actually very typical. Every year, and well into that year (halfway or so) there is a final report of flu deaths for the previous year. And every time I’ve looked it up, that previous years’ numbers at the end of that year was significantly too low. I’ve seen them be off by 50% or more. This is not due to some “lie”, it’s simply inefficiency at CDC and in the records system, plus some natural lag. (Sometimes death certs are not issued promptly [this happened with my Dad and caused us a fair amount of grief!] and so on.)
Now, I do think there are significant mitigation related premature fatalities, and I think many of those have yet to come home to roost. My elderly Mom is an example: Part of her deterioration is almost certainly due to COVID mitigation causing gaps in her medical and LTC care.
However, my own surveillance of the pool of people around me and my family / close friends certainly indicates carnage at least as bad as the presently stated numbers for COVID.
